Dedicated to confused print publishers everywhere!
The littlest birds sing the prettiest songs Buy a copy of the Sedalia News-Journal today and get MORE local news from Sedalia's smallest news team. How do we do it? It's simple really...
WE CARE!
Our crew is second to none. We keep a well-trained and experienced crew that is extremely talented, highly-skilled and versatile like no other. This allows us to leverage the most advanced technologies in order to keep our overhead low. The result? Cost-effective advertising for our local business owners and friends! Our local advertisers will never take a backseat to national advertisers. Have no doubts about it... we most definately are out to help LOCAL business compete in the world marketplace.
Keeping our in-house costs to a minimum allows us to produce a quality local paper with quality local content. Instead of sacrificing the size of your paper or even the top-grade thick paper stock that we use, we would rather cut costs by using our noggins. That's why we hire the best and the brightest. We care about our advertisers AND our subscribers. Every reader is important to us at the Sedalia News-Journal.
The economy concerns us all. Still, we think the solution is not to give you less for more, but rather to keep giving you more for less! We are proud of our top-notch crew that continues to dedicate themselves to bringing you the best in local news and sports. Don't ever forget that dynomite comes in small packages.
Our small, creative and highly-skilled crew packs a powerful punch and that's why we continue to get all-new and regular readers week after week after week.
Let's not forget for a second that bigger is better in Sumo Wrestling. 'FASTER on your feet' has always been better in the news business and especially in the ever-changing world of technology where 'bigger' is an outdated dinosaur. Dinosaurs are slow, hard to keep fed, make a lot of noise and are clumsy. If you run uphill, they can't catch ya! Our productivity does not rely soley on our state-of-the-art equipment. It relies mostly on our own local people who are forever learning, growing, adapting and flowing with the changes.
The news NEVER stops. The technology continues to become old and outdated every 18 months. How do we keep up and keep moving forward through constant change?
Again, it's simple really... We care! We put in the blood, swet and tears that it takes to keep bringing you the best that we have to give. We are a local paper produced by local people and read by the local communities. YOU are our friends, neighbors and even family. We want you to have the best and are ever striving to improve the quality of everything that we do for those that are so important to us. We never forget for a second that without YOU... we not only don't have a paper, we wouldn't even have jobs! You can bet your boots that you count at the Sedalia News-Journal. It's YOU keeping shoes on our kids feet!
You can read any other paper and feel like a small fish in a big pond. Because we keep it local, our advertisers and subscribers are BIG fish in a small pond. Every local advertiser counts and every reader matters. We truly care about the communities that we serve and will continue working hard to give you more for less. NOT the other way around!
We do thank you and we truly appreciate all YOU have done for us. It is YOU that forever keeps us striving to improve, to be more effiecient, more cost effective, and more productive. The key word here is "more." We will keep giving you as much bang for your buck as we possibly can. With the ever increasing cost of EVERYTHING... isn't it amazing what two-bits still gets ya' at the Sedalia News-Journal? That's no accident! It's hard work. Still, we don't fear hard work. If it's for you... we always give it our all. We care and we know that with enough hard work... YOU can bank on it!
Though change is everywhere and even all around us here at the Sedalia News-Journal... take a look at your paper. Nothing has been sacrificed. It's the same top-quality it always was. And, the same two quarters will get ya' one!
